Hello and welcome to our first Devlog!

Thank you to everyone who played our beta release last week and the feedback and support we have gotten has been amazing. Today we have a lot of bugfixes and some small changes to our game for you guys to enjoy.

Gameplay 

• *NEW* Cards now have bonuses to their effects when the elements match on the card and unit. 
• Removed the ability to click on units to do the following actions: select unit, view units, move units, and attack units. You must now click on the tile of the unit.

Art & Design

• *NEW* Added poses for the Riot Officer, Hoppers, and Footpads during the battle scene.

UI

• *NEW* You can now see how to play the game from the main menu (no more google docs for us). 
• *NEW* Prologue and ambush scenes have new animations.
• *NEW* Settings menu is now available.
• *NEW* Added the ability to swap between fullscreen and windowed mode.
• *NEW* Added the ability to control volume. 
• Using your mouse to highlight tiles will now only work during the player turn. 

Music & SFX

• *NEW* Added win/lose music.
• Changed the end credits music.

Bugfixes

• Fixed a bug that caused the player to be unable to click on the escape tile in Level 2. 
• Game will now default to fullscreen when opened which caused some issues on higher resolution screens.
• Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash upon clicking on an obstacle outside the grid.
• Fixed a bug that caused certain UI elements to overlap during gameplay.
• Fixed an issue that caused some battle scene models to not load properly.
• Fixed multiple spelling mistakes.
• Fixed an issue that made tiles unclickable in level 1.
• Fixed a bug that stopped you from ending the player turn by clicking on the tile under the unit.
• Fixed a bug that would cause the turn to not end properly.
